Hi everyone! I have recently started an Etsy shop (malro12) along with a few others.  I started making jewelry when I was in college as gifts to my family and friends.  I started wearing it to work and people started asking me if they could buy it off me.  So, naturally, I said "OF COURSE!!!"  I am very excited to get my online business started and get the word out.  Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

Hello!
Here goes the introduction!
A year ago this month, I jumped into the crazy world of online selling by way of Etsy.  Somewhere along the line, with college, working on Wall Street for 14 years, and then being a stay at home Mom for 6 years,  the creative side of my brain was just sort of pushed to the side.  Luckily I was blessed with a family of "hard-to-buy-fors" and in an effort to find gifts that were unique and meaningful, I started making my own.  This really reignited my creative juices again!  It was a natural progression to incorporate my long time love of vintage and antiques (some may call it junk!) into my work.  Being a treasure seeker at heart, it melds my two of my favorite things into one!
So, a year later, I am having such a fantastic time being home with my two kids, being creative on a daily basis and being able to share what I do with others!

So excited to become a member of HAF and getting to know all of you....

Best,
Julie

Hello all.
I am Iryna. Couple months ago my friend tries to discard really old and ugly table. When I helped him I decided to take this and paint it. And I did it. I painted it and draw lighthouse on top. And now it is really nice table. Since that time I cant stop:-) I take old furniture and do some modifications:-) I will show it later.
I glad I found this forum - there are lot of useful information and tutorials, a lot of amazing crafts and nice peoples of course.
And sorry for my English - its not my native language.

Please don't worry about your English...I can only imagine any of us trying to speak/type in Russian!  Boy, would you get a laugh then!  Welcome!

Hello, I'm Jane and found this wonderfully inspiring place from a new contact on Facebook (The Pine Cone Tea Cup).

I'm starting out on a new venture - making bags - as my son will be starting school in September, and I want to use my crafty talents in some money-making scheme!

I have lots of other crafty interests, including beading, painting, photography, glass painting, rubber stamping, etc, etc!

Come along and visit my brand new website, or Etsy store, or Blog, and you'll learn a bit more about me.

I'm looking forward to making some new crafting buddies, so do get in touch!!

Jane  :)
