Hello All!

I am excited to join this group of dynamic people, and look forward to chatting with all of you!

I started my purse and accessory design business, and Like some of you, am pursuing my passion while maintaining balance with my family, friends, and salaried OTHER job. My goal is to break away from the steady paycheck and concentrate on my creative vision, without ignoring friends and family (which is what I struggle with now…can I just have a few more hours in the day? PLEASE??)

I am looking for inspiration, critic, and advice. Come by and say hello!

You can find me at:

Please take a peek at my up-cycled artistic flare, and let me know what you think!

Hello all, Vicki here. I come bearing jewels.
I have just opened an Etsy shop with my handmade jewelry, groundfloor. I have been selling on Etsy for over a year now, primarily vintage jewelry. This passion all started with a collection of vintage jewelry, years ago. It led me down the road to becoming an antique dealer, online shop owner and ultimately, jewelry maker/designer. I am proud to be a part of this team. Anything I can do to help anyone on their path to creating new pieces, I would love to assist. I am also ready to learn more techniques and try new ideas. Find me:

www.groundfloor.etsy.com
www.onelevel.etsy.com
www.twitter. com.oneleveled

I am also usually stopped and shopping at any sale that has something sparkly at it.

]Hi Everyone-
My name is Elizabeth and I have a shop on Etsy, Paradise Purls.  I am a self-taught knitter, and a completely obsessed yarn-lover.  My shop features hand knit accessories.  I'm going to be adding hand crafted jewelry soon.  I found this forum through another etsian's twitter post.  So glad I did!  I look forward to getting to know everyone!

Hi! my name is Barbara, i'm italian and i'm 39 years hold . The polymer clay is my passion, can yuo see my creations in my blog:www.b-ijouxart.blogspot.com ^_^ Compliments for this fantastic forum and for the mazing artists! :)

Welcome to the forum! I visited your fine city of Rome many years ago, and loved it there. It was while I was deployed overseas in the military. For five breathtaking days, I explored the Sistine Chapel, where Michaelangelo painted his famous ceiling, stood inside the ruins of the Colluseaum (bone chilling but fabulous), went to the Vatican, saw more ruins, and ate some of the best foods I have ever had in my life! I would weigh 300 pounds if I lived over there. Your ancient architecture is ummatched, I have a picture of the courthouse that I still look at quite often. In just renting a car and driving from Sicily up to Rome, the autostrada and the scenery along it was fabulous! I did some fine shopping as well in Catania, which was closer to where I was stationed. This was back in 1988, but I will never forget it. I would love to get back there again one day.  ;)

Hello all!

I'm Rachel and have recently opend my store on Etsy and joined the HAFteam today. I work as a seamstress in the costume industry, but am having a blast making my earrings! I'm a reformed fabricaholic, and my obsession is everything do to with stones. I have rocks and geodes and mineral formations all over my apartment. When people bring me souvenirs from their trips, nine times out of ten its a handful of rocks from where it is they were! I have rocks from National Parks all over the US mixed with stones from Scotland, England, Greece and Mexico! I love that.

I am now a beadaholic, but at least that takes up less room than fabric! I still sew at home some, but making earrings makes me happy. It's been interesting visiting other stores and seeing the success they are having and really want to make that happen for me. I'm getting alot of wonderful feedback and an grateful for all of it. I'm so happy to have found this team and can't wait to meet people!

Hi. I'm Joel. I've dabbled with sketching, refinishing furniture, wood crafts, and discovered and have been having fun with clay for the past three years. My son discovered Etsy and encouraged me to open a shop almost a year ago; I finally found the confidence to offer my ceramic ephemera for sale at the end of August, 09.

Most of what I have in my shop at the moment are Finger Faces - like fingertip puppets. I've just started exploring what I can do with Talking Head Door Faces - faces for a door or wall which include a ceramic cartoon balloon to either greet guests or ward off intruders. We'll see if they become popular. In the meantime, I'm just having fun playing with clay and exploring what Etsy has to offer.

Hello!  I'm Heather, I'm pretty new around here, but have already met some very wonderful people  :)  I'm a sahm with 3 crazy kids, and I love to sew.  Especially soft and cozy things, sometimes it's clothes, sometimes pillows or quilts.  I usually take my youngest with me when we shop for fabric...she has great taste, and can pick out the softest fabric every time :)

I just opened my Etsy shop a few weeks ago, and am open to any advice!!
