:D  Those are the only two words I remember in Italian.  I made sure that while I was in Europe, I learned at least "please," "thank you," and "you're welcome" in each language.

I am just trying to sort out this method of posting, I have been introduced to so many different types since I started selling my jewelry on line.  I just wanted to say in the way of introduction, that I have and am still a beader, but I work primarily with Precious Metal Clay and gemstone beads these days.

I am also an avid animal lover so if you have anything to do with me, you might be inundated with pictures of my critters, unless you advise me against it!

I am looking forward to fitting in, and being a part of a Hurrah to Handmade, which is the best way to go in my mind,

Hi everyone! I've been following Chainmaille By MBOI on Twitter for a while, and often checking links back to here whenever I see new creations. You all have inspired me to work harder on my own hobby jewelry! Thanks for all of the creativity you have shared, and I hope to learn a great deal from you all!

I also am an avid podcaster and geek, so feel free to check out my blog/podcast at www. howtogrowyourgeek.net to learn more about me. Thanks again for showing off all of your great creations!

Hello everyone, I'm so glad to find you all (through Twitter). I've been here over an hour just reading the forums. How great to have tutorials! I'm posting a couple pix in your gallery.

I love making jewelry (though not wearing it so much). My skills are pretty much limited to basic stringing, though there's plenty to be done there and I'm happy as a clam stringing my beads. I've loved stones since I was a kid and feel that jewelry showcases the stones as well as decorates the person. Next I want to learn to solder.

I was unemployed (and stressed) a couple years ago. I realized that I was relieving the stress by beading. So, I decided to string more, sell at craftshows, and develop a supplemental income for when I retire.

I have a new shop on eCrater. I've also played around at Etsy and Artfire, but I'm putting a lot more energy into eCrater.

I've also got a blog at Bead Beat, which I've just started keeping up with.

Needless to say, I'd love to know what you think - the good, the bad, the indifferent.

Hi - I'm Tricia, or LazyT, or just T.
I've been an Etsy seller for three years...wow!
I'm very active as a team co-leader for the ClevelandTeam. We're doing great things, locally, to spread the goodness that is handmade. You are welcome to check out our website at www.ClevelandHandmade.com for lots of handmade goodness, giveaways, and more.

I love to crochet and knit, as well as felt with raw fibers. I only just bought my first drop spindle and hope to learn to spin yarn soon. I have a weaving loom wasting away in my garage and hope to find someone to show me the way very soon. I live in Amish country here in Ohio, so it shouldn't be hard to find someone to teach me.

The most important thing to know about me is...that I have a terrible time with these types of forums. I don't really understand them. I hope to find the time to, but all I can do is try to keep up with all of you. So, if I'm missing something urgent...let me know! Thanks
Tricia

Intoducing myself
« Reply #671 on: January 26, 2010, 08:00:09 AM »
My name is Linda; my etsy name is raedawn. I'm not sure that I know how to post here, as the only thing I could find was "new topic," no "reply" button. So I have no idea where this will end up.

I moved from NM to MA two years ago, and it would have been more of a shock had I not lived on the east coast most of my life, in MD. But it was something getting used to all that snow again, and the cold. Silver City was always a balmy 50 degrees in the winter, hardly went lower.

I am a visual artist (painting, drawing, mixed media), and my work is based on shamanism and other spiritual "realities" that I have experienced directly. It is figurative and symbolic, but not, by and large representational. I am also a jewelry maker and I have a shop on Etsy to sell my jewelry.

I was really happy to find out about HAF...seems like a great group. Best ~ rae
