Andrew and Kimberly,
Just want to add my thanks and appreciation for all of your hard work! I am still reading through the forum and willing to help promote this great site.
Cheers
Judy

For anyone that thinks that twitter doesn't bring sales.....wrong! I randomly followed a few people this morning and came back to a very nice sale and tweet thanking me for the follow and the bracelet!
Keep tweeting and stumbling and people will find you!

Suzie - I'm glad to know I'm not the only one having a problem with just randomly following people! I'll often follow people that follow me - have added a few people I know - but haven't added too many just randomly! still shy I guess! lo

Hi Andrew,
I've put the HAF badge on my blog, and I've mentioned it on Twitter, too.
Do I have to do something special to be included in the list of artists on the HAF Etsy page?
BTW, I'm a newbie at all this online selling stuff, too, and I do believe I deleted you as a Facebook friend the other day because I didn't recognize your name ... boy, is my face red!
Let me know what else I can do to help ...

Since we will be gone this week I could really use some help in the forum promotion area. Any tweeting and stumbling and blogging will be greatly appreciated.

For those of you who watch the stats for the forum, you may have noticed that the traffic has decreased quite a bit. If you want to see for yourself just go to more stats below and click on August and you will see that the last week has suffered a bit.
Well there is a few reasons for this, twitter has had multiple issues and some of my tweets has gone unpublished also I've been away quite a bit this month and still haven't gotten close to catching up, I know there are a whole bunch of gallery items that I haven't even seen yet. I will catch up eventually.
The third reason why the hits have dropped is that I recently lost my job. The economy has been hit hard here in Jersey as it has hit the rest of the country and the company I work for is quickly on their way out of business. So I've been very busy trying to interview and find work so I can continue to feed my family.
I telling everyone this because any help that our members can give each other to promote the forum and each others shops will be greatly appreciated. The forum even though the hits have been down a bit is still doing well and I think we will hit 600 members in short order.
Any help and ideas to continue the growth of the forum would be appreciated your input is needed. We are still doing well as a community of artists and I think we will be around and continue to grow for years to come.
Just remember that this forum and blog are yours also so bring on the ideas and support as I'm struggling to keep up.
Thanks Andrew

So sorry about the job thing, Andrew. My husband is ill and also unemployed, so I know how much it sucks. I'll keep tweeting and blogging the HAFteam members. If anyone can tell me how to feature other shops on my blog, I'd be happy to feature team members there, too ...

Thanks Andrew for sharing. Been in a hurry trying to relax during our vacation. Will be praying for you and your family. In July everything was put in place so fast my head was spinning trying to keep up. I think we all need to revue what you and others have accomplished. In record time. Flicker, twitter facebook etc. So I personally thank you and your family for trying to promote my stuffs.

Just an update-Andrew has a couple of promising offers so he may be back to work soon...what does that mean for the forum? He and I promote hard, both the forum and individual artists and we continue to need your help as the forum continues to grow! I'll be teaching full time in September and that will not leave a ton of promoting time and Andrew will be getting settled in a new job which cuts into promoting time. Any little bit, Twitter, stumble, blogs, forums helps us all out. By promoting each other the community as a group will grow and everyone benefits. Thanks to everyone for well wishes and your hard work!

Just another quick note about stumble upon it is very powerful and it would be great if we can get some more participation in this area. I am working real hard at promoting everybody's work with twitter and stumble upon. I feel we are doing well in the twitter area but haven't quite tapped the potential of stumble upon.
When I stumble I put a link in the thread, if you click that link and review the stumble, basically put a comment, the stumble becomes more relevant and therefore gets more traffic.
If you look at the bottom of the board the most people we have had online at one time is 283 and that's huge and it's because of stumble upon.
If you go to the links tab you will find other forum members who are stumblers. If you don't have an account it only takes a couple of minutes and an email address. Sign up and friend other members of the forum and subscribe to there feed, when they stumble you can review there stumbles also.
I would really be interested if we put a real effort into this, like maybe 5 minutes a day, how much traffic we can bring to the forum.
I'm getting ready to go back to work on 8/8 and I could really use some help in the forum promotion area. Remember if we promote each others stuff weather it be twitter, stumble upon, digg, yahoo buzz or whatever you use it will help all of us including you.
So thanks in advance for everyone's help and I appreciate all the help to come. I am at a point where I really need all I can get.
thanks
Andrew

Great the HAFteam stumble account is sort of dead until we can get the username and password from the person who set it up. You can also look in the link directory and see our other members who are stumblers.
Glad to see you stumbling!
