Thanks; there are so many little places to click on I don't look at most of them, but I got it now.

Just a thought-is it possible to make the navigation bar a little larger? I think the only reason people may be missing their messages, etc...is because it's very hard to see that it's even there, since it's so tiny. Especially for those of us who suffer from 'old-timer's' disease and can't see as well as we used to  :P

I'm sure it's possible, I'm not a coder though and I'm really don't want to start messing with the code. Then people like me start breaking things because of inexperience with code.

Manic,
I made my settings such so that I'm notified when I have a message. Makes things a lot easier.

If you want any coding help with this forum I have someone you can contact, they work for SMF. They will make sure nothing gets 'broken' and may even be able to help with the 'spam' problem.

Thanks Haffina will discuss as the need arises. I really trying to keep the default look. Guess I'm paranoid. The spam mods that are available seem to be full of glitches when I've read up on them. Waiting for someone to create one that's not funky.

Haffina the SMF site say the 2.0 version is Beta, are you having any issues? I'd be willing to try it just not sure how to go  about upgrading with out breaking things.

Well, we havent had any major issues. Considering how much my boss likes to recode stuff, we probably should have had more problems LOL We dont, however, have any spam.
As for upgrading, if you choose to upgrade to any of the newer versions of SMF, my boss has already said she would be happy to help you. She will make sure nothing breaks. And I can say without bias that she is very good at what she does.

I have a suggestion.  I don't know if I'm just not seeing well, but I often read a post and cannot find a name of the author.  If people could just put their name at the bottom?  I don't know.  Maybe it doesn't matter to people, or if I'm missing it somehow.  I just like to know who I'm addressing.

Good Suggestion Kim I have no control over that. I just put my name in my signature. If members want to do that it would be a good idea.
