I always miss these because I come home from work right before chat and either forget about it or am overwhelmed by the mess the kids made while I was gone.
So I'll just say that I get inspired by looking at other people's items! I just LOVE the creativity I see when browsing the HAF Shop, Etsy, Artfire, etc. Now, when I craft my own items, I try not to browse anyone else's beforehand, because then all I can think about is the items I just saw.
When I create something, it comes straight out of my own head.
Another inspiration is clothing and purses. I'm always checking out people's fashions (which probably creeps them out a little
), thinking about what I like and don't like, and would like to try sewing myself.
I guess you could say nature is an inspiration for me, since I love it and love to create things that have a nature theme. Although, it's not like I watch the rain outside and say, "Gee, I'd love to create something that looks like the rain!"
