A Vase for the Queen
« on: September 05, 2010, 12:32:48 PM »
A while back I got an email asking me to make a vase for a queen...now being a bid jaded, I figured it was some sort of joke; but I answered it anyway.  Turns out, it was a gift for a reenactment group in California.  They have a tradition at the end of the season to present a gift to the queen for all her "hard" work and my vase was it!  So...here is the shot I was sent of the queen receiving her gift.  She looks pleased!

As if her head wasn't big enough, now she walks around the house all day saying that she has painted for Royalty.
The other day she called me a peasant.
Then smacked with a glove and called me a schmuck, so I think this has gone to her head.
