Love the boot vase, but my Polish grandmother would've had a fit ... she was completely superstitious about shoes on the table--thought it was bad luck. (I think it's cool, though)

I love this too, but I can understand your grandmother:-) Looks like most of Eastern European peoples have some concerns about  shoes on the table,because this is for bad luck. The same about keys on the table and bag on the floor:-)

Very unique and fun! And yes, I can just hear my husband's grandmother saying something about it too! In Polish with one or two colorful expletives thrown in!
