Unfortunately, no. We'll be in NC someday, but on the east coast.

I live in Cary, North Carolina.  It's in the middle of the state just outside Raleigh.  :)

I have always loved the western end of N. Carolina, like Maggie Valley, Waynesville, in there somewhere.  ^-^

It is really pretty out that way. We like going to the mountains for vacation. We usually end up in the Lake Lure area, and will drive over to Asheville.

I'm in the Triangle area too!  I'm in western Raleigh, very close to downtown, NCSU, and Cary.

Teresa-My DH's grandparents were living in Maggie Valley. His Grandpa was a handyman, and he built them an A-frame about halfway up one of those mountains. We used to vacation there alot when we were really broke, and had no money but going to see family and staying with them, but those were some of the best times of my life. I still fondly remember sitting out on the deck on the front of their home, drinking coffee on the porch swing in the mornings. Wow, what a perfect way to start a day! We will be back there to visit, one day in the next couple of years. That, you can take to the bank!  ;)
