Rather than reinvent the wheel by writing my own tutorial for HTML, I generally save some time and go searching for the answer on sites that have already written it all out.
Here are some of my favorite sites to suggest:
http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/http://www.htmlgoodies.com/And if you want to get into using Cascading Style Sheets for a web site (which I highly suggest for ease of maintenance), I use this site all the time:
http://www.w3schools.com/CSS/CSS_reference.aspAll of these have a starting point, "how to use this site," etc.
And I'm sure I'm not the only one on here who works in HTML and other code. Who else has some favorite referral sites?
