My Artshu Designs
« on: January 18, 2010, 07:54:38 PM »

I paint these onto canvas as well as water colour card.  They are painted using Archival quality Acrylic.  I have painted many different designs and am always looking for GORGUS shoes to paint pics of.

Nicely done; the detail is extraordinary!  So, do you own all of the shoes that you paint?  ;D

I have some of them but not all - I wish!  I have a favourite though - I have posted a reply pic of this wonderful "Marc Jacobs" lookalike.  I can't seem to buy a pair in Australia :(  I think I prefer the black and cream although any would be nice.  The pic with the three shoes is various colorways I made up, but I do believe there is a cream with red polkadots.  At least I have the pic to drool over!

I sell small pics of all of my Artshu designs on Etsy - http://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtShuShus
they are all handpainted onto either canvas or water color card and ready to be framed.  The prices are very reasonable for art - if you're a shu shu girl!

Violet-These are gorgeous! I have a shoe weakness as well.  ;D

Kim-How many pairs do you have? My ex used to tease when we were married that Immelda Marcos had nothing on me. I have 55 pairs, at last count. I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed, but definitely a weakness of mine too. I prolly need a 12 step program, but it's more fun to stay in denial  ;D

OMG, when I was in college my friends called me "Imelda" because of my extensive shoe collection!  I say that to younger people now and they have no idea what I'm talking about.

Not too may, maybe 20 pairs not including flip flops and such.  I had MANY more when I was working full time, but I've been a mom and student for so long that I don't have much use for pink, zebra stiletto heels any more  :'(

Those are really nice - I'm not a shoe junky at all.  I own about 6 pairs of shoes, 5 pairs of boots, and wear mostly 1 pair of shoes and 1 pair of boots.
