Redfox -- there are a ton of wordpress templates out in the world, free ones, so I'd just do a search for like free wordpress templates and see if you can find something that gets close to what you like.

I use blogger and have played around with templates and finally decided I just wanted something simple (this was after having redone the silly thing like 4 times and having to redo all my widgets and what not).

I'm interested in joining a blogging ring. I already have a few HAF member's blogs on mine (using the blogroll feature Blogger has), but something more coordinated sounds great.

Great!  My blog has sat for way too long with no action...resolution one; get my self organized!  Let me know when you have it up and have an address and I will add you to the list.

Well, I can honestly say that I made and kept my new year's resolution. I put up a blog today, hurray! I looks like crap, but it's up and I have my first post on there. I have utterly no idea otherwise what I am doing. Installing it was the easy part as I am great with installing databases and such. Now, figuring out how to get it to look the way I want it to and get it functioning, now that os another story. The url for it is http://www.redfoxjewelry.com/blog/ . If anyone is saavy with blogs and wants to give me some advice, I am all ears. BTW, I want to do it in the same colors as my shop which are black white and the burnt orange/reddish color with 2 columns and a fixed width. That's about all I can tell you.

Yeah, I kinda figured that you had your hands full.
I already had the webspace and the domain. I plan on putting up my own site eventually. But no use doing that if I can't get anything sold on as big a site as etsy or artfire. I am on both, but I only have the free account on artfire so I can't even join the guild. Thought about making my own private guild but figured they wouldn't like that either.
Anyway, thanks for the offer. I will try not to bother you but if I get stumped I may take you up on it.

The whole point of this is to trigger Search engines....They LOVE!!!! blogs and the more views a blog gets, the more links and comments it has, the more love it gets from the search engines which means the more traffic we get as a whole!

Well, I posted about Sharon's shop, but for some reason, I wasn't able to copy and paste pictures tonight. I tried to copy some from her blog and from her shop, but no dice. I'm sure it's a glitch on my part somewhere, but I'm not sure how to fix it.

Also I was going to suggest that once we get rolling we could pick a topic to write about like once a month in our blogs like 'what's your favorite crafting material' or 'what terminology do you see misused that drives you nuts.'

I've seen a few other blog rings do things like that and I always love reading what different people say.

Additionally, if you haven't been doing this in your blog comments leave the link of your blog so people who visit can check yours out too. I always forget to do that but I see some traffic coming in that way when I post elsewhere.
