Voting for the handprint... would venture an opinion that it is slightly too heavy/dark and might be more gray, or a color tone (I know this is not about color, but I'm more raising the idea of the heaviness) -- a light touch of the hand like the various tinted ones in the background.
Thanks for all the work.

I should have posted these first......
Regarding the "mechanical" hand, I feel this is more artistic, it was drawn by my DH not found on the internet so it's original and you won't find it anywhere else, it's UNIQUE and we are all unique as crafters and artists.
Although I understand why people are choosing the 'hand print' because of 'handmade' to me it is not original it's more predictable.
I'll attach a few more pictures so you guys can see what they look like with colors as I think the original posting with color combos were for HAF Team only...remember you will be able to choose your colors AFTER the poll.
(The pictures are from before some of the modifications such as text but it's so people who are not a part of the team can see them with more color)
Thanks again for all your comments:)

I like the hand print - great job!
I am originally form New York, but have spent the last five years in Dublin, Ireland. I travelled quite a bit, since my arrival in Europe allowing me to collect eclectic materials and inspiration for my unusual designs. I love to combine fine knits with other interesting materials.

As far as a 'cover all' design I really like the mechanical hand. It is a cleaner, more universal look. And, to top it off, it's an original design!
I realize that the crafting world is well saturated with more ladies than gents, and I wonder if the profusion of hearts in the second design will put some of the man-set off?
Then again, I'm biased by the programmer hubby who has attempted (sometimes in vain) to teach me that less on a computer is more.
(Did you feel him
squirm
in his chair when I added that smiley??)
Thank you for all of the hard design work and for braving the masses!

I choose the mechanical hand for a basic branding reason ( and it is, to me, more visually striking): it is gender neutral. The handprint is a bit more feminine and the team is mixed gender.

I put in my vote. Since we only had the 2 options and looking at both side by side, I decided that I liked the mechanical better. I also think that it would go better with my color scheme of the black, white, and burnt orange/red solely because I think that hearts should be red or pink and not funky other colors.

Voted! I went for the Mechanical style, really only because I don't like the hearts floating out of the handprint one. It makes it too twee for me!

i voted handprint but you are so right it is not a guy thing with the hearts... so maybe the wavy lines instead. or darts, or stars.. I give all you graphic designers so much credit it to put up with all our opinions. A mother that knows.. (son graphic designer)
