The first set is the mechanical hand set, personally from a designer's perspective it works better as a whole. The second set is with the real hand print.
They are the correct sizes for what you need them for (although the poll may have resized them) They consist of a banner, blog badge or button, avatar (in case you wanted one) and a large badge which is what you would include in your etsy listings if you like.
Pay no attention to the colors as those can be changed, it is the design we are looking at here. Colors can be made to match your own sites after a design has been chosen.
The words Team, Forum etc can also be added after.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask me directly.
Thanks a bunch

Sweet!
Thanks for all your hard work and attempting to appease all the suggestions along the way.
It is greatly appreciated.
I voted by the way!
Sorry but I'm a real hand kind of guy,but we'll see how the vote shakes out.

Well like I stated before in the text above the pictures, we are not voting based on colours we're voting based on design, the colours come after so hopefully people aren't basing their votes on the colours since we kept them to a minimal....

I'm not much into orange either however the "mechanical" hand thing looks way more professional than the other. From a graphic artist stand point I'd rather have that on my web site representing me or a group I'm in than the other. JMHO please don't flog the new girl

Thanks Ambient girl for all your patience and hard work, you really have presented us with two strong options that work on different levels. I agree that the orange one is crisper and cleaner as a graphic and the real hand print is more organic and soft, the appeal each one holds would depend greatly on each members creative perspective.
This may be a dum idea... but can we use both and let people use their preference? I mean would this cloud the team branding?

I love the handprint one, and this is why. I feel it better represents (out of the two) the handmade ideal. The mechanical one makes me think of some big corp. Being real artists, who really handmake our items, the 2nd option just feels more real.

Voted
... I do see validity to both sides of these discussions, so I am not going to say which way I voted. But I notice that this has been viewed a bunch more times than there are votes???
So c'mon people let your voices be HEARD!!!

First, thank you for the effort and beautiful work you put into these. I find it hard to decide on one over the other, but after considerable thought, for me it is the handprint one. We are a handmade group and I think this best represents handmade. I did place my vote.

I vote for the mechanical design, because of its crisp, clean professional look. I like the idea of a real hand print, but I still have to go with the first design ... kudos and job well done ambient girl.

I just voted and I chose the Mechanical Hand. I think it looks much more professional although I'm glad there will be color choices. Sometimes I like orange, but it's not commonly used in ads. From what I've learned more universally accepted colors work best in advertising. Blue is always a good choice, but whatever colors are available when the time comes I'm sure there will be something that will work for me.
Sorry I haven't been very involved the last several weeks. Just trying to finish up my holiday orders. I plan to be much more active after the holiday season is over.
