Has anyone ever attended either as a vendor or shopper the Funky Finds Spring Fling in Fort Worth,Tx. The upcoming event is in March. You have to be accepted into the show so I do not even know that I would make it, but there is a $10 app fee, which I realize is a small amount, but it is non-refundable if I don't get in. I will worry about booth costs when/if the time comes. I have never done a show before, but would like to do one that is not a hodg podge of stuff (e.g. antiques, garage sale, etc) and this sounds like it fits the bill. I have to have my app in by the 15 so I am asking your advice. I just found the info so I am desperately trying to decide. If you have been, was it worth it? Was there a lot of traffic? Thank you for any advice.

Just in general, I'm kind of over the fairs that ask for a non-refundable application fee.  Pay them to look at your stuff and decide whether or not they want you?  It may be for a big event, but that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.  If they're having problems covering their costs and need things like this to help them break even, it seems to me that the event may have gotten too big.

Thank you. I was thinking something similar. I have now talked myself out of it. I will save the 'look and see' money and the booth fee and concentrate it on marketing elsewhere.
